Growing Older

This is a picture at the beach from '99 when I was a baby. And that cutie holding me is my big sister Mary Katherine. She would have been 8-ish. I thought it was a cute picture, and it didn't seem all that long ago. :)
And now here I am (that baby in the top picture) at the age of 14 holding Mary Katherine's baby at the beach. Weird.
Just wanted to share, because it seems like my big sister is too old and shouldn't have any kids. Love you, Mary Nana. ♥

All attempts to find a way out of the
plight of today's world are fruitless
unless we direct our consciousness,
in repentance, to the Creator of all.

Be More Tea

Diana and I went to Hannah's house on Thursday to have a little English class (and sample food, and hold babies, and go on walks in the neighborhood, and.....) We had some tea in these beautiful little cups.

Then I had some more tea today! Raspberry Zinger tea (courtesy of Hannah) and a good ol' history book in the great outdoors.

What a perfect day to watch "The Shop Around the Corner" for the first time!

The weird thing about the interstate is that you never see the same person twice...

Diana drove 70 mph on the interstate tonight, and we're still alive... phew.

A Little Bit of 2013

Hello, everyone! I'm back. And while I feel like doing this, I am going to hurry up before I feel like not doing it.
These are some pictures that I forgot to post last year...

"Come on, Mr. Frodo!"
A beautiful sunset on our way home from Mississippi.

Sarah's mud run in October. Wait... that looks like a slide...

A stand with very delicious goodies at the Farmer's Market!

We have been making lots of cold drinks around here lately, this one being Sarah's pumpkin spice shake.
This is my version of a "Chunky Monkey" (coffee, chocolate, and peanut butter) from the Drowsy Poet.

Just havin' some fun!

The following pictures are from our trip to St. Augustine for our cousin's wedding.
It was cool for me to think when I was looking across the water that I was looking towards Africa. Much more different than our beaches.
Such a gorgeous day for us to be there!
Samuel is in there somewhere...

Our hotel was walking distance, so Daddy (who was on baby duty) brought Nora over after her nap.
Ben's cool collection that I had to take a picture of.
We had a surprise visit from these guys.
Up next: Suwannee River and the Zoo.
